Observation 2
Not much has changed since my last observation. There is a new lilac tree off my back porch that has buds and was recently watered. The birds are confused by the new tree. The birds fly at it then fly away and then landing on it quickly and taking off. The birds blend in with the willows and the dark areas under the trees. The camouflage of the birds is normally blacks and dark brown colors. The horned lark visits my backyard to get bugs and berries. Many of the animals are in competition with each other over the berries and edible vegetation.

Good link to camouflage, an anti-predator adaptation. Explore the causes and reasons for the low biodiversity more. What are the available niches and resources for food for various organisms?
